Ten years ago, a couple of friends and I saw a need in the bridal industry for a retail store where customers could choose celebration favors of the highest quality, made of the best materials we could find. The store would be a wide array of beautiful little bows, boxes, charms, and delicious fillings. In addition, we would offer bridal accessories like photo albums, cake serving sets, and other wedding necessitites, again offering an alternative to the usual bridal stuff. Our Keepsakes and Promises was born.

After seven years in a retail storefront, my friends began to have other interests besides our favor store, and I had become increasingly interested in continuing the favor business using the technology of the internet. We soon closed the shop, went our separate ways, and I continued on my own, selling favors via the Web. Using the new name Keepsake Favors, what began as a few dainty wedding favors soon spread to include baby showers, christenings, birthdays, holidays, and wedding keepsakes to give the wedding party, the families, and the bride.

As a single working mother, one of the key elements that makes Keepsake Favors successful is that each favor is made by hand by women that I know, who are also working mothers. Your favors are made lovingly during soccer practise, before dinner, and long after the kids have gone to sleep. Each of us takes great pride in keeping the favors uniform and consistent, as well as constantly inventing new creative favors for our customers.

After 25 years in the restaurant business and 10 years in the wedding industry, I feel like I have the experience to provide you with new and beautiful ways to thank the guests who atttend all of life's special events.
